How we protect you

Your safety is important to us. What do we do to make sure that your trading experience is a secure one?

  • We invest in leading-edge security software, systems, and procedures designed to safeguard your trading environment, your personal information, and your financial assets.

  • We utilize advanced firewall and intrusion detection technology to keep unauthorized parties from having access to your personal information.

  • We require clients to create unique UserIDs and alphanumeric passwords to log on to the secure Web site. And if someone submits an incorrect UserID and password combination 10 times, the Web site will lock that person out of the account they're trying to enter.

  • We will ask you to select four security questions to answer. These questions will be presented to you on occasion when you log on to your account, creating an extra layer of security to protect your account from unauthorized use.

  • Our public Web servers are kept separate from the servers that contain your account and personal data, so they can't be accessed directly from the Web. Access is allowed only through a well-established computer security approach called "least privilege access" and is firewall-controlled.

  • Internally, client information is protected through security mechanisms and policies that limit employee access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.

  • Privacy Statement 

  • We will never send you e-mails requesting your account number, UserID, PIN, password, or other personal information.

  • The secure Web site uses 128-bit encryption on the transmission of all personally identifiable, Web-based financial information that is transmitted between our Web site and your computer while using this site. This level of encryption provides a high level of security for online transmissions.
